School Council half-termly report
A school council provides a meaningful way in which pupils can voice their opinions and have their views taken account of. Our council help make decisions and suggestions about school life.
A new council is elected each year. All school council representatives are elected by their peers at the beginning of the school year.

School Council aims
- To meet regularly to discuss their views and ideas
- To help make our school a happy and safe place for all children
- To make sure children have a place to voice their concerns, opinions and ideas
- To encourage all children in school to suggest ideas and improvements
School Council Autumn Term update
This term the school council have met four times to discuss ideas and raise any concerns that have arisen from their class meetings.
So far the school council have:
- cleared and cleaned the book lodge on KS2 playground
- reported a minor repair that needed to be carried out on the dome
- requested mirrors to be installed in PE changing rooms - this has now been done
Further suggestions in the pipeline are:
- an after school chess club
- reading buddies for younger children
On Tuesday 28th November the school council will travel to St Paul's Catholic Secondary School to meet with the councils of the other Catholic primary schools in Milton Keynes to share ideas and formulate a plan for all of the schools to work on.
