Parks Trust Trip. The older children went to the balancing lakes to visit two ladies from the Parks Trust. They had created some fantastic acttivities for the children to try and experience. We recapped the Very Hungry Caterpillar story. Discussed healthy food and not so healthy food, looked at life cycles of creatures, and went on a bug hunt. The highlight of the trip though was the minibus! All of the children were very chatty and excited.
Sports Day. Mrs Ledger couldn't quite believe the weather when she arrived at nursery and set about getting ready for the children's first sports day. We had only practiced the races once so they children did really well. Everyone tried the best even though some of the races were tricky. Well done everyone and thank you to parents, grandparents and extended family for coming.
Den Day - It was such a lovely sight to see so many Dad's in Nursery helping the children to build Den's. Thank you to all the Dad's who took time to spend an hour or so with us. Some of the creations were fantastic!
Little City - Today, we had a very exciting visit from Little City. This linked to our people who help us topic. All the children had lots fun exploring the roleplay areas and it was lovely to see them taking on and acting out the different roles. What an amazing experience!
