MK Foodbank say thank you to St Mary Magdalene
Tue 29 Nov 2022On Tuesday 29th November 6 of our liturgy leaders Augustas, Deborah, Jayla, Jayvion, Michelle and Zoe visited MK Foodbank warehouse for their annual "Thank you to schools" event.
In recognition of the schools ongoing generosity to those in need, children were invited to help decorate the Foodbank Christmas tree. The decorations were messages of hope, baubles designed and written by pupils in our school.
The children had hot chocolate and cake, made decorations and sat in Santa's sleigh. Children were also given a certificate of attendance and a small gift. The evening was topped off with a visit from an elephant and a dragon! The pictures tell all.

Science Competition at Thornton College
Thu 24 Nov 2022On Thursday 24th November, four of our girls (Isabella Wheaton, Lucy Kennedy, Zimife Ohamadike and Raimy Kunnath) were invited to participate in a science competition at Thornton College. There were 15 teams and our girls finished second. Mrs Messina accompanied the girls. She said she was very proud of how our girls behaved and impressed by their knowledge.

Catholic Schools Cross Country Tournament
Thu 24 Nov 202236 children across years 4, 5 and 6 attended and took part in the Catholic Schools Cross Country Tournament at St Paul's.
Not only were the children a credit to themselves and to our school, but they also managed to finish first place in all 3 year groups.
Therefore, they were emphatically crowned winners of the overall tournament.
