  These are some more photos from the London trip. We're now almost back. The children have been amazing and we were told by our guide that our group has been fantastic, really polite and super well-behaved. Well done everyone, we're proud of all of you!

  

• London Trip Day 2: Natural History Museum

  After a good, filling breakfast, we all went happily to the Natural History museum. The different groups saw lots of great exhibits, with the dinosaur one being a particular favourite.

  We also ate some well deserved lunch and are now heading home!

  

• London Trip: River Cruise, supper and show

  We went on the River Cruise, followed by a mini walking tour. We had a lovely time and learnt lots of facts from our knowledgeable guides.

  We then went to Pizza Express. Everyone was really excited for all of the tasty food!

  Finally, we went to the theatre and saw 'Wicked'! It was a great show and the children really enjoyed the songs and special effects.

  It's now the Friday morning. Everyone is at the hotel getting ready, looking forward to a super 2nd day! More photos to follow...

  

• London Trip: Tower of London and Superbloom!

  We saw the amazing Superbloom at the Tower of London. Some of the children even tried the Superbloom Slide, which was a lot of fun!

   

  We then saw the incredible crown jewels. Everyone was really impressed and learnt some of the history behind them. Sadly we weren't allowed to take pictures of the treasures.

   

  We've just stopped off for lunch and everyone's really looking forward to the rest of the day's activities.

  

• Music Festival

  The children went to Primary Music Festival at The Ridgeway Centre, performed and learnt new songs and had a great time.

  

• London Trip Thursday 1

  We've had a great start to the London Trip, and the pupils are all excited for the day ahead. We've just arrived in London and are getting ready to visit the Tower of London.

  

• Roman Villa Time Detectives

  Some children from Years 4, 5 and 6 went with The Parks Trust to explore the site where the Bancroft Roman Villa was discovered, carried out challenges to increase their understanding of the period, develop their inference skills and become more engaged with their local history. They found out about villa life and create a mini mosaic.

   

  They then spent the afternoon at Milton Keynes Museum finding out more about the Romans.

• Walsingham Pilgrimage

  The pupils in Year 2 and 3 went on a mini-pilgrimage to the Catholic shrine in Walsingham.  The children attended mass and lunch and then went to Wells-next-the-Sea for a walk on the sea front and some hot chips!  The children had a great time.
