Welcome to our Nursery

We feel very privileged that you have chosen St Mary Magdalene Nursery for the start of your child's education.  We strive to work in partnership with parents, so together we can achieve the very best for your child.  We hope that this is the start of a very successful learning journey for your child and our partnership.  We admit children to our nursery the term after they are 3.

Applications for nursery for September 2023/2024 are open.  The school is responsible for nursery admissions and applications should be returned directly to the school.  Application forms are available from the school.  If you would like to visit the nursery or school we would be delighted to welcome you.  Please contact the school office to make an appointment.

All the children are entitled to 15 hours free, working parents who are eligible receive 30 hours.  Children are offered five morning or afternoon sessions.  Timings are:

8.45am - 11.45am - morning session

12.15pm - 3.15pm - afternoon session

8.45am - 3.15pm - 30 hours (including lunch club - additional charge)

Parents who are not eligible for 30 hours can still request 30 hours or additional sessions.  The current cost is £21 per session.

Finally please note that admission to our nursery does not guarantee automatic admission to our school at 4+.  You need to follow the school admission policy for a place at the school  (further details available on the school website).  You must also complete the Milton Keynes Council admission form as they co-ordinate school places.  For further information please read our Nursery Booklet on the school website, you will receive a copy of this before your child starts when staff meet you during a home nursery visit.
