Year 6 French Trip - Day 2 Review by Jermaine
The shuttle stopped and we were off. We began the long walk to Mont Saint-Michel. Eventually, we arrived and it was nothing like what we expected... The streets were absolutely packed with people!
Shops were everywhere! We then stopped off at a beautiful little church. Then, we arrived at the entrance and Mr Thonet went up to buy the tickets. After, we began the journey. The steps went on and on and on and on and on... they went on forever.
After this, we went to Mont-de-Huisnes, the German War Cemetery. It is a large two-storey vault, with 34 chambers on each level. Each chamber holds 180 dead, some of which are 'known only to God'.
Later, we arrived at the centre for another night of fun.
