Year 6 French Trip 2018 - Day 3 Part 3
We ventured into the scenic town of Arromanches for lunch. Everyone enjoyed our little picnic spot, before going to have a look at the shops on the beachfront. The children had the opportunity to buy some souvenirs and ice cream with their pocket money.
We had a chance to look out onto the beach and see the Mulberry Harbours used to drive heavy vehicles from the boats to the beach.
Then, we finished the day's excursions with a trip to see the Bayeux tapestry. The group had a tour, which explained each of the scenes.
After a long day, we then made our way back to the centre for our dinner.
We spent some time on the beach playing football and beach volleyball, before heading into the disco for the remainder of the evening. This was our last night here and everyone was tired, but we all had a very enjoyable day!
