This year's Teddy Bear's picnic was thankfully dry. The children tried very hard to make their own sandwiches which they ate at the picnic. We played games, listened to stories and sang songs.

The picnic ended with the release of our butterflies. The children closely monitored them from very small caterpillars and were thrilled when they hatched and appeared as beautiful bright butterflies!  They were very reluctant to leave us, but it was amazing to see them fly off.
