Today, we participated in a Lent CAFOD Workshop focused on the vital topic of water. During the session, the children were engaged in thoughtful discussions about various aspects of water usage, such as the average amount used by a household each day. We also explored the pressing issue of water scarcity in different regions around the globe. Following this, we had a water relay activity designed to help us appreciate the immense value of water. This exercise illustrated the daily challenges faced by children and families in Africa, who often have to journey up to 5 km to collect and carry water.
