ADVENT CAMPAIGN 2025

As you will know every year we, the Liturgy Leaders invite you all to take part in an Advent project where we focus on the true meaning of Christmas.  Last year we invited you to make a Star of Hope and send it into school.  We had 152 stars of different shapes and sizes of stars all over our entrance hall.

This year we invite you to make a Gift box for the World.

The birth of Jesus was a very special gift.  All babies are special gifts.  Jesus came to tell us that we should see every life as a gift.  He taught us that all people are made in God’s image and likeness, and so have great dignity and are precious beyond measure.  We are all precious gifts, capable of sharing God’s love and joy with others.  And when we share God’s love and joy, we follow the example of Jesus and become gifts for the world.

We would like to fill our school with Gifts boxes for the World.  Make a gift box (empty) shape, your gift can be:

• Large or small
• Sparkly or not
• Lit up or not
• Decorated in any way you like

Finally, make a gift tag for your gift, on the gift tag write how you will use the gifts God has given you to help the world.  Please see Gift Boxes for the World section for photographs.
