You may be aware that our school has a partnership with the charity St Mark's Meals.
They have put together crisis holiday packs for families who need extra food during the half term. These large packs of food are free for families who are in genuine need.
If you feel this support would be beneficial to you please come and see Mrs Lighthill, our Family Support Worker.
Well done to our Gardening Club who with the help of Mrs Ledger and Miss Burt planted lots of wonderful plants.
On 12th May they sold the plants to parents and raised £85!
Fantastic effort. We are all very proud of you!
Avery in Year 5 is now playing for MK Dons after being scouted at a match. He was asked to complete a four week trial. He then successfully signed for MK Dons Academy. They immediately spotted his talent and potential.
As a school we are very proud of Avery. We look forward to hearing wonderful things about his development.
Well done Avery!
Some of our Year 2 children performed at the Milton Keynes Infant Celebration Concert yesterday. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to perform in front of a large audience and celebrate their musical achievements this year. They were absolutely brilliant and represented our school wonderfully.
The children had a great time. The fastest pupil in the school is Joel in year 5, but from all the schools Pro-Strike have visited, he is the fastest in the country with 91 km/hour!! Well done Joel!
Let’s hope we raise lots of funds for our resurfacing of the areas under the play equipment in KS2 playground. You can still return your forms and money to the school.
Thanking you in anticipation of your support.
On Thursday 30th April and Friday 1st May we held an Art Exhibition.
All parents were invited and many came to see their child's work. Every child in the school had their artwork framed and displayed.
We were extremely proud of how talented our children are. It looked amazing!

On Tuesday 28th April, the School Council visited the Houses of Parliament. They had a wonderful day even though it was an early start. We left at 7.30 am and arrived back just after 5.30 pm. The children had a tour of the building (known also as a palace), they went into the House of Commons but we were not able to go into the House of Lords. They were told the history of the building including how Henry VIII used to play tennis in the great hall. The children also met and questioned our local MP Chris Curtis. We had an amazing guide who frequently told the children they were very good listeners and very well behaved.
After the tour the children had a workshop about how laws are made. I think the children learnt a lot about debating, putting forward an argument for a new law and participated in Parliamentary ping pong (when a bill goes back and forth between the House of Lords and the House of Commons). We also saw the speaker parade into the Houses of Commons.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day. Mrs Williams, Mrs Jones and Mrs Swaby were incredibly proud of our pupils.

Today Father Bernard attended school to bless our beautiful new cross which we had commissioned to celebrate our 40th birthday. The whole school including some of our governors attended.
Father Bernard spoke to the children about the significance of the cross to Christians, led us all in prayer and a hymn.
Despite the cold windy weather it was a moving and memorable event in our school's history.
